5 Star Rating This magazine is full of informative articles, packed with insight and stories from around the globe. The name leads one to think it is an economically focused magazine, but they cover a broad spectrum of topics making this one of the most "economical" uses of your allotted reading time.
5 Star Rating The Economist is what Time and Newsweek once strived to be: relevant and informative, not to mention very well written. That was before People Magazine demonstrated that American readers wanted more pulp without all that pesky information. By American standards, a conservative leaning editorial posture, but that is hardly a blanket statement. They did rip Bush II for his profligate spending and endorsed Obama in 2008. As the world is flattening it is all the more critical to get a view of the world that isn't necessarily American-centric. If you know of periodical that is as well written, I'd like to know what it is. James Walsh
